KG: Well, for one, it makes you indebted to the bank. Plus, all of your cash is tied up in repairs and taxes.
Q: But, buying a home allows you to build equity.
KG: Buying a home used to guarantee an equity position, but that is simply not the case anymore. And what if the housing market crashes again? Housing bubble 2.0 is not too farfetched. Also, there are better places to invest your money and stay more liquid. You can’t eat a house and it takes a lot of your time and cash flow to ensure it is properly maintained.
Q: What makes Westglen different from other apartment complexes?
KG: Westglen is a unique property in that we have very few apartment homes on a lot of acreage. I think it is the lowest density in the metro area with only 80 apartment homes on 17 acres! That’s only 4.7 units to the acre. Also, we have private woods with trails for our residents to explore and enjoy. We are also in the back of Westglen subdivision, offering the best of a suburban lifestyle. Plus, we are in one of the best school districts in the metro are: Rockwood.

It’s a great deal and one that really must be seen to appreciate. We like to say we’re kind of hard to find but our residents like it that.
